What is Riveter?

Riveter finds and structures data from the web using AI agents. You describe what you need in plain language, and its agents search the live web, navigate to the data, and extract it, returning a finished, structured dataset through a single API. Riveter handles bot detection, proxies, and site changes, so pipelines keep working when layouts shift.

How is Riveter different from traditional web scrapers?

Traditional scrapers are written against a specific page structure, so they break whenever a site changes and need ongoing engineering time to maintain. Riveter uses AI agents that interpret pages the way a person would, so the same configuration keeps working after a redesign. Riveter also runs multi step workflows. It can find every dental practice in a city, then pull every dentist from each one, in a single request.

How current is the data Riveter returns?

Riveter fetches data from live websites at the moment you ask, rather than serving results from a pre-built index. That matters for pricing, inventory, job postings, funding announcements, and anything that changes daily or hourly, where a cached index can be weeks out of date. For fast moving data like scores or election results, you can refresh as often as every minute.

What sources can Riveter pull data from?

Riveter reads more than web pages. It reads PDFs and images, calls third party APIs as part of a workflow, and combines those results with data pulled from the web in a single output. Everything returns in the same structured format regardless of where it came from.

How does Riveter handle sites that change or break my extraction?

Riveter's extractions are self healing. When a source changes, Riveter regenerates the extraction automatically, so your pipeline keeps running and you do not lose data.

Can Riveter deliver data through an API at scale?

Yes. One API request can return a single record or millions. You bring your own input data or build a dataset from a prompt, and results come back in a consistent, structured format.

Do we need to know the source, or can Riveter find it?

Riveter can start from a prompt with no URL. Its agents find where the data lives on the web and extract it, so your team does not have to build or maintain a source list.

How much does Riveter cost?

Riveter is priced per action in credits, not per seat. There is a free plan, pay as you go with automatic top ups, a self serve plan, and custom enterprise pricing. See the pricing page for current rates.
